Ranjeet Singh, 29, of Bakersfield, CA, was arrested at the Pilot Truck Stop in Hampton (Hunterdon County) on Thursday, Oct. 10, following a month-long investigation, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said.

At the time of his arrest, Singh was found with 50 kilograms of MDMA, commonly known as molly (crystal form). The drug acts as both a stimulant and a hallucinogen, Robeson's office said. The street value of the seized drugs is approximately $3.2 million.

Singh was arrested without incident and was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute. The New Jersey State Police assisted with the arrest.

Singh was released with conditions after his first appearance. Assistant Prosecutor Rosie Bolte represents the State.
